This is my chapter preferred, since in it, I have introduced my designs, built way integrates, always looking for fun, inventive. Facts based on patience with Woods, from the majority of the wines, or boxes of cardboard, etc., leaving that Mrs. Mercedes auction them old-fashioned, or crankpin and covers designed by my daughter Laura. Some of "galena radios" work without any power, or batteries, are completely ecological, energy it directly pick up electromagnetic waves travelling in the air, with that feed (real magic) and depending on as intended commandeer more or less stations, why I call them familiarly "atrapa-ondas". And all work, even the more "crappy".

I start with a small representation of the evolution of the TRIODE valve, through the course of time, until our days, passing the glass ampoule to metal and ending in a tiny plastic. These valves in its infancy operated tensions very high today work with millivolt, making progress in all its technical aspects have been extraordinary.Still would have to continue the row but with a smaller one, this would be almost imperceptible. There is no doubt that humanity stepped abysmal, thanks to these components.

Well, well, we have here the first radio of galena built by my hands, very simple, minimalist, since just the components are. Under its chassis carries the slightest electronics, as you can see, the galena, in this case, it is encapsulated in a glass forming a germanium diode. This receiver is very good sensitivity. Is composed mainly by a coil, a variable capacitor, other fixed and the diode, among other pieces. It does not have speaker, you have to listen through headphones, the ancient of high impedance. Oh, and the most important that it works without batteries. I should mention that the design of the Strip my daughter Laura was.
With respect to this one, the technique is same as the previous, but with a Variant that carries two coils and runs by the same induction. It is a smart radio works with good sensitivity, provided you have a good antenna and Earth socket As you can see, none of these has been speaker, you have to listen through headphones, the ancient of high impedance and also works without batteries. The Strip also was designed by my daughter Laura.
As you can see, this is something more complex, is a recipient of high selectivity and scope, uses a transistor, a special coil, a germanium detector and batteries. I still have it in study, this being a provisional prototype. If it is true that I have included you enhancements such as lights, sensitivity, another of batteries, meter etc. makes fun to investigate and if that works with batteries. I must indicate that the interior design of the sensitivity meter and strip down are designed by my daughter Laura.
Well, this is the "pear", this is made to base of recyclable elements, using as detector razor blades and a pencil, among other topics. I can assure you that it works, always with a good shot of aerial and land, this is essential, and if it picks up one or two stations, you can give with a chant in teeth, because the elements are "sub-human", must have patience and investigate connections, especially the almost union between the tip of the pencil and the blades, here is where part of the successof course you must use headphones high impedance, as the ancients and works without batteries, incredible...
I start to introduce a thermionic valve powered by batteries, with a lot of scrapyards of radios, ubico it in a wooden box, previous preparation of painted and crackled it, along with other electronic components. My daughter Laura, giving it that old design that characterizes it made the cartelillos and the battery cover. It is a radio which ultimately weighs consi-derablemente by the amount of batteries used. Very curious, no?
No, also mounting me a stereo amplifier, was of an old record player that was made powder, noticed it and adapted to this new support, which I made with wood from wine boxes, are solid tables and left work very well, finishing the ejecutomi woman to "trunnion". I introduced two VU meters, among other improvements, and my daughter Laura designed the Super album cover design. So the "A team" has worked wonderfully, each fulfils its function or speciality in each prototype leaving them as you can see.
This magnificent receiver was that I made in the course of electronics in the early 1970s. This is a superheterodyne AC, dual voltage 125/220 volts. It consists of three waves, the OL-OM and FM, with four valves (UY85-UCL82-UF89 and the UCH81). The FM came non-transistorized, which does not bring valve thereon. The appliance is wonderfully heard well in all its waves.
Here we have a transformation of mini modern radio which had its broken case and adapted to this new box, ready-made wooden wine boxes. It is heard through headphones modern in an extraordinary way, is very "cuca" to have it on the bedside table, for example, and listen to it before going to sleep.
This is another that happened the same thing that the previous, but this time, by its physical characteristics-cas I saw the option of making a box, in this case of fibreboard, lined with sheet of wood and treated to old-fashioned (filler, sanded, application of technique and crankpin) an extremely professional work for such a small thing, but it was what we wanted and got it. He listens with power and through its own speaker, but you also have to use headphones.
Also saved from misery this magnificent transistor, which is the first that were made. The original box was almost non-existent, so I had to make one to my "ball" of improvised way, finding currently unfinished in its final design (although this is very common in my, almost never finish things). It is only medium wave, but has a loyalty, sensitivity and extraordinary cleaning in the sound, and above it spends little energy, or is, a true jewel, why spend the a cover as large recipients, monumental, even with its dial illumination design.
This prototype is still on the base of evidence, studying it. This battery-operated, not that it is a "pure and simple galena", well of course, through a germanium diode. It is manufactured primarily for long distance stations. In the end, we'll see the results more forward, convince me it would do you a very attractive piece of furniture.
This metal box where they kept gauzes for the first aid kit emergencies became it a support good enough to camouflage an AM radio and FM stereo, which came from a scrap, was of those primitive radios that they formed a helmet (ear) of the last 80 years, so I saw this opportunity to give out, to nonsense more sillyno?

I made this prototype so improvised in a wooden box very damaged that belonged to a Radiola III, without CAP and nothing else. Restore the box while maintaining its measures and introduced a whole series of pieces of scrap, but at the time, sufficient to perform a basic radio with a valve triode, double coil, a resistor, capacitor Super air, among others. It is powered by batteries and it works perfectly. I would be remiss by finish exterior decoration with posters and some other things that I can think of.
